The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Amendments to the Criminal-Procedural Code of Ukraine" (re Observance of Confidentiality of the Confession) as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No.1308) introduces a new version of Paragraph 1, Part 1 of Article 69 of the Criminal-Procedural Code of Ukraine.

The Bill also supplements Part 1 of Article 69 of the Criminal-Procedural Code of Ukraine with a new paragraph, pursuant to which, the clergy can not be questioned as witnesses concerning information obtained during the confession.
